As of April 2008, IP Devel becomes part of Enea, a world leading provider of network software and services. The acquisition of IP Devel provides Enea with a base on which to expand its European business and it also secures development capacity for its own products. During a brief period of transition it will still be IP Devel and it will then change into Enea Romania starting with 2009.
Enea has long been a large customer of IP Devel’s and has been committed to help build the Romanian business, all along with the strategic outlook of hoping to acquire the company once it was ready. From their position as a global player in the telecom market Enea aims currently to grow their services business throughout Europe.
IP Devel provides such a strong and reliable foundation. As they notice a growing demand for highly qualified expertise in the embedded technology area along side with a constant global price pressure, IP Devel will be the stepping stone for Enea in offering the best of embedded technology towards its valued customers.

IP Devel becomes part of a global player in embedded solutions, with the possibility to grow through Enea’s sales organization. On the services side both companies are experts in embedded software. IP Devel’s engineers are excellent at executing in house projects, a business model we are adopting across Services and thus can learn a lot from. IP Devel will strengthen Enea’s ability to offer bridged services in Sweden where services projects are executed with a combination of local and off shore consultants.
